Mind The Gap: Where To Find Some Real Classics On Streaming Services
One of my goals when I started writing about movies and making a more conscious effort about what I chose to watch was to watch a lot of those movies that we all know about in culture but often haven’t seen. (For a prime example, check out me finally watching Citizen Kane just last month.) The problem is, a lot of these tried-and-true classics are not always the most readily available, so I decided to help make a resource that can make it easier for classic seekers to find the ones that are.
This list is limited to movies that came out in 1979 and earlier, and it may not be comprehensive, and it may become outdated, but I’m going to try to revisit it two or three times a year to confirm that these are all accurate still, and to update it if they aren’t or if new ones have become available. There also is going to be a little bit of redundancy as I wanted to note a movie under each streaming platform it is available on to provide all the information for access.
