First things first, if you don't see the beginning of this two-parter... well, you might actually enjoy the second part even more. While part one may be a bit more of a wild ride filled with laughs (intentional or otherwise), the second is a much more cohesive flick. It can almost stand on its own, but at least a quick glance at the plot from the previous hour and a half or so can't hurt.
The cast is the same and it's showing just how the few people we became familiar with are going to end up. There's one continuous story this time: what is going to happen to the drifter (Sestero) and his girlfriend (StephensonPino) now that they're dealing with what they did to get the money Sestero thinks he truly deserves.
A lot of this film is reflecting back on the previous one and highlighting what really happened versus what we were shown. There's a myriad of adventures, some misidentification and some twists. Who is good, who is bad and who is dead? Somehow, for quite a bit, these guys manage to keep you guessing.
So while this may not be as truly fun of a moviegoing experience as the first half, it is a more solid movie. There's no real question about what's happening or who is doing what. There is a definite lack of that Wiseau craziness for the most part, which does do a bit to lighten any film he's a part of. But needless to say, if you saw the first half of this two-parter, it's well worth seeing it through until the very end.
